It’s the Pawnee Parks and Rec building aka Pasadena City Hall. Such a beautiful location for a wedding. We provided the sound and music and microphones so the guests could easily hear the vows over the sound of the fountain. Congrats Allison and Kris!

Hillary Duff back in the zeitgeist. I’ve had a number of couples recently ask for “What dreams are made of” from the Lizzie McGuire movie. Wedding music is a reflection of the songs the couple grew up with so early 2000s music is big right now.

Every DJ is going to tell you how great they are but if you want more than hyperbole, look at what their couples say about them. What was their entire experience like, from the initial email contact, to planning, to last dance. You want to love the entire process of your wedding experience.

One thing I preach to my couples is to make your wedding a reflection of your own taste and personalities. Jasmin and David did that with so many fantastic moments. They hid the rings under one of the guests seats and had a random impromptu ring bearer. The place cards were personalized lego figures of each guest. There was a caricature artist and the centerpieces included a crocheted coaster that Jasmin made, that were given away to a guest. So many unique memories shared with the people they love. They chose a lovely venue as well, run by an amazing staff. Looking forward to seeing the professional shots from caricature .booth
