Silvus Technologies will join Microsoft to support their Tactical Vehicle demonstrator at the CANSEC exhibition taking place June 1-2 in Ottawa, Canada.
Silvus StreamCaster radios will be on display demonstrating how the tactical vehicle can utilize a MANET tactical mesh network to achieve ground-to-ground and ground-to-air relay and share tactical data across an urban or undeveloped natural area of operation, even when there is no other infrastructure for communications. Silvus display area will primarily be in Microsoft’s outdoor pavilion # 3201, but visitors can also start at Microsoft's two indoor booths as well, numbers 515 and M13 in the main exhibition hall.

As a key component of the US ARMY’s Integrated Tactical Network Capability Sets 21 and 23, Silvus' StreamCaster radios have received the Joint Electronics Type Designation: AN/PRC-169.
AN/PRC-169 radios connect the dismounted soldier, deployed command posts, ISR sensors, and unmanned vehicles via an Electronic Attack resistant MANET.
These same capabilities are now being fielded by the USMC and other US DoD components to extend JADC2 to the tactical edge.
