In celebration of the 10th anniversary of "Minority Report" below please find a sequence PLF previs'd for the film. This was a study we came up with to help understand how traffic would work in a city with cars that can drive on any surface, which was the design brief from the car designers. Alex MacDowell, the film's Production Designer, guided our conceptual design-vis effort.
So, what would that look like? What new kinds of streets / intersections / transitions would need to be invented. Could it be designed to feel safe to modern viewers?

It was enormously fun to work on this project in the early phases, and to attend the "think tank" meeting referred to in the article below.
This was in the early days of snowboarding, so the sliding down through the corner from vertical to horizontal was not as familiar a movement as it is now in the half-pipe era.
