✨ It all started in my living room. ✨

When I first interviewed the legendary Dr. Edgar Kahn — the father of Time Banking — I didn’t just want to talk ideas, I wanted to exchange them. So we filled my house with friends, had a wild night of inspiration, and launched the very first Idea Fountain podcast. 💡💬

Fast-forward 8 years… and that same spirit of shared creativity is alive every week at .ai. We call it Culture FYI’rs — an in-person idea jam backed by a digital toolkit for creative collaboration + inspo on the go. 🚀

📝 Multi-Media Journalism 📺

This .ai Culture FYI’s chat with really was eye opening for me. The new era of journalists can pitch a story, cover / shoot / report on it themselves, while using an iPhone, and get it edited and uploaded for the 5pm news!!

Taylor did an incredibly thoughtful piece on “East LA” and to me this is modern journalism. I get excited by technology when there are opportunities for more stories to be told, less gate keepers, and trusted sources bringing local truths.

Every week at FYI we host fireside chats and the creative community gathers for creative collaboration.

I think I first met at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango with . After that I took a publishing workshop she taught and started learning more about the business and how to empower artists.

Over the years we would go to hundreds of yoga classes and lock down the VIP Room. We marched a thousand people up Runyon Canyon for Friday Morning Hike Clubs until… it really got to be TOO much 😂

When I started Dina was one of my first (and most popular!) interviews sharing her toughest moments and journey after an illness that tried to take her down but didn’t stand a chance!

Every week .ai we host a creative meet up, Culture FYI’rs, on Thursdays. Last April it fell on my birthday and I thought about who I really wanted to spend time with…. And came through! She had us all feeling strong, street smart, and full of joy.

A new .ai Culture FYI’rs 🔥 Podcast is up!!

Jeremy Hecht is my coworker - he’s at UPROXX which partners with FYI.AI. He’s not only talented, hard working, smart, a Hip-Hop Head, and kind…. But he’s intuitive and even inspired to do some things differently.

I also love a good serendipity - Mac Miller was a friend and really important artist to me. I miss him all the time. Turns out - he was part of Jeremy’s story and jumpstarted his career. I just happened to be wearing my Mac Miller shirt the day we did this interview. I see you Mac!
