This year, companies and designers from over 60 countries entered more than 6,500 innovations that were judged by 39 jurors and Radiant's AXA Volumetric and Light Field stages was hand selected as the best product design of 2020.

In 1878 “The Galloping Horse” was the first motion picture ever made.
Invited by Eadweard Muybridge, when he was hired by Leland Stanford, the founder of Stanford University, hired Muybridge to help him settle a century long question: does a galloping horse ever lift all four feet completely off the ground?

Muybridge placed 12 cameras 27 inches apart and in rapid succession; which gave birth to motion picture and today is the method and principal is used on all camera arrays, Volumetric, light field, VIrtual Reality and beyond.

Today we are all standing on the shoulders of great giants such as Muybridge to reuse his methods and retell his story in an upcoming documentary.

Radiants' patent-pending Volumetric & Light Field stages. The AXA-Stage is modular in design, portable and has the highest accuracy and adaptability.
The AXA-Stage supports over 100+ cameras and the ability to add additional camera density anywhere inside the sphere. AXA's highly accurate camera positioning is the key for automation and the algorithms for both Volumetric & Light Field.
AXA stage is produced from a lightweight and rigid carbon fiber, forging an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion and vibration absorption, making AXA stages very accurate and adaptive.
Recently Radiant designed and manufactured its portable stages for one of Hollywood's largest motion picture studios, with plans to build several stages around the world.
