Hi Everyone! It's been a little while since I've posted here, so I'm sort of going out on a limb here. For the past few months I've been putting together a project near and dear to my heart. I've written a graphic novel that chronicles a very personal story of mine and have currently set up a gofundme to raise for the cost of production. If you would consider donating to the project it would really mean a lot to me. I am currently raising the funds for hiring out the team of artists needed to visualize the novel as well as the publishing costs required. Any little bit counts! Earlier this year I got a random call to help this new docuseries with their translations. The main character for the episode about a heist that took place in Miami was speaking Spanish that needed a cuban’s ear to understand. I had so much fun working on this with this very talented producing team. HEIST is currently #5 on Netflix today 🤗🔥

I love working for all my wonderful clients. I work about 8-9 hours a day, usually in sweats, a messy bun, and slumped over my screen. Sometimes it’s just nice to take a moment from the madness to capture a picture that makes me feel human lol

When I was first approached to create a piece around Black Lives Matter my first thought was—but I’m a white woman. ⁣

Then I went to the protests. ⁣
And started to learn. ⁣
And educate myself.⁣
⁣
And I realized that this movement is about so much more. So when I was given the opportunity to create something that could continue the conversation, beyond a trending topic in 2020–I knew it was something I wanted to do. ⁣

It is so clear in our world what a divide there is. My only hope is that this piece can bring us a little closer together—as fellow human beings, as confidants, as allies. ⁣
