Gabriel Mitchell’s schizophrenia led him to commit su***de. In his father’s words “the noises in his head may have amplified and it happened in that moment and he just jumped off the 59th floor from his balcony!”

This is truly heartbreaking as Gabe was trying his best to fight his schizophrenia. He was turning it into a learning experience rather than seeing it as a hapless disorder.

Since the film was shot during the peak of the pandemic in and around California, it became almost a necessity to shoot with actors that you felt safe around (a.k.a. family!) and vice versa. As if making a film isn’t hard enough, this was an added challenge - to make a film SAFELY without compromising the story and character in any way.

And that is how / why director Vineesha Arora Sarin chose her son to play the pivotal role of Lucas Morris - son of protagonist Johnny Morris.

Our upcoming film, Between Mountains is about a widowed father who loses his young son to sudden death and decides to end his own life to end the pain and misery. But after spending time on the open roads and in Nature, he begins to realize Life’s ultimate Truth - that every end has a new beginning. That no matter what, we must journey on as we are on this journey alone. That ending one’s life is the ultimate defiance of Creation itself. And that the road to salvation is only through Karma. And we must LIVE to fulfill this karma.

This is the spiritual journey of protagonist Johnny Morris.

On World Su***de Prevention Day, we’d like to dedicate our movie to all those that have lost and overcome, and to all su***de survivors. Thanks for braving it out and setting the right example. ✊

When you feel depressed or disconnected, you know, in your heart, there’s at least ONE person you can live for, if not yourself. When you don’t feel enough love from those around you, know that you were born alone, and will go alone, and all the journey in between relies heavily upon how you spin the wheels of Karma. And that should always lead you to the Truth.

Life is beautiful. Please stay positive. Nothing is more precious than Life itself, for it is a gift from the Almighty. Live for that. Respect yourself, your own Creation. Love yourself first - for you can’t love another till you truly, madly, deeply love yourself 💜

Today we became music producers and recorded our first song ever at the Meet Bros. studio. The song “Bachpan Theher Ja” is a tribute to the children and their families who suffered from failed humanity. It is made to awaken and to inspire and to encourage the citizens of India to help put an END to the rampant child abuse plaguing our Nation! Help us help raise awareness so that we can all start prevention and deter such heinous crimes from taking place! We need our voices to be heard on the highest of levels, and we need our authorities to punish the guilty! This is a war cry..

Let’s have ONE voice on this and move ahead in ONE direction and help remove this plague from its root, for there’s no future in store for us, if our children are unsafe and harmed!
