: Black creator , alleged that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security ( ) hacked his social media accounts and posted an old video of his but with a fake caption threatening the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ( ).
The video, which showed a group of young men standing on a field with a caption, appeared on DHS’s official X account, stating: “ICE we’re on the way. Word in the streets cartels put a $50K bounty on y’all.”
The post went viral, alerting the creator who addressed the video saying that he did not post that caption or the video, which he added was never published and was saved in his drafts.
“I did not post that video or the caption on that video.
My account was hacked... I have no clue how they were able to get that video.”
He later added that the original video was part of a TikTok trend about Iran, not ICE or law enforcement, which was a joke and not a threat.
“It was literally a joke, bruh. I posted that months ago about Iran. I didn’t make that caption or repost it. Now the federal government’s involved with something | didn’t even do.”
Social media users are calling for to take accountability for spreading lies and defaming the creator’s image.
