: Legendary 🌽 star (Brian Pumper) was spotted walking the streets of SouthLA again, this time near Astro’s Liquor on Imperial Highway and South Broadway.

A woman who filmed the video is heard saying she feels bad when she sees videos of people being mean to him him on the streets, adding that “you don’t know what’s someone going through.”

Thoughts? 🤔 Why do people be mean to him?

Three people have been shot at a senior assisted living facility in Monday morning after a worker opened fire on his colleagues.

Police responded to Progressive Home Elderly on the 7000 block of Denver Avenue around 1:50 a.m.

Dorothy Mobley, a witness to the shooting, a caregiver at the building, said she was visiting her client when she saw the custodian stand up and shout “I’m tired of this,” before firing shots.

Mobley said she had known the man for the past five years and seen him almost every day.

The witness added that the victims included the owner and a customer service representative.

Police are investigating a motive at this time. The employee is currently in custody.

LOS ANGELES, CA — officers raided a basketball game between members of the Black P. Stones (BPS) and the Neighborhood Rollin’ 20s Bloods (RTB) on Saturday afternoon.

Officers arrived at Benny H. Potter West Adams Avenues Memorial Park, better known as , shortly before 4:30 p.m., abruptly interrupting the gathering.

According to a community member, no one attempted to flee when police arrived. Officers allegedly began identifying and searching individuals wearing visible ankle monitors who may have been on probation or parole.

Video from the scene shows community members confronting police officers in the street before their attention is diverted and runs through the park to the aid of a member who was being detained by officers.

In a separate video we posted yesterday, a member on an ankle member was hogtied by police before being placed into a patrol vehicle as bystanders expressed outrage over his treatment.

Community members believe the basketball game was unfairly targeted because some of the players were alleged gang members.

Witnesses also said there had been no fights or other disturbances before LAPD arrived.

Several people were ultimately arrested.

: native Richard opened up about how the prison program helped him confront childhood trauma and better understand the experiences that shaped his life, as part of a video feature celebrating UnCommon Law’s 20th anniversary.

Richard’s commitment to healing while incarcerated has not only supported his own growth and pursuit of returning home, but has also positioned him to help others along their own journeys of transformation.

“It breaks you down, it takes you back to your childhood…things that you might have forgotten, your ACEs, adverse childhood experiences, to show you how you became the person you are today,” Richard said.

Richard was part of the program’s first cohort at California State Prison, Solano, where he began learning to be vulnerable and confront difficult truths about his past. Through healing circles, counseling, peer support and opportunities for reflection, he has worked to better understand his trauma while taking accountability for the harm he has caused.

“It helps us how be ready to sit down with the board process and have that conversation to be vulnerable, to be accountable — to show that the person I was when I entered these gates, I’m no longer going to be that person,” he said.

Today, Richard serves as a peer mentor, using the lessons and healing he has gained through the program to support others as they confront their own pasts and work toward change.

His journey is an example of how healing can extend beyond the individual — creating an opportunity for one person’s transformation to help inspire transformation in others.

, Ivania Emila Reyes, the mother of native Nockey, has passed away at the age of 64 — one week after his release from 13 years in prison. 🙏🏾🕊️

“Losing my mother has left a piece of my heart missing that can never be replaced,” Nockey wrote in a tribute story post on Instagram. “I miss her more than words can express, but I’ll carry her love, memories and everything she taught me in my heart for the rest of my life.” 💔🙏🏼

The family is in mourning but are raising funds via GoFundMe to help with funeral costs and arrangements. ✅

“On August 28, 2026, our beloved grandma, mother, daughter, sister, and loved one, Ivania Emila Reyes, passed away at the age of 64,” the family said in a statement. “Ivania was a devoted mother to her three children, Gabriela, Ericka, and Enoc, as well as a loving grandmother to her many grandchildren, a daughter, a sister, and so much more to the people who were blessed to know her.” ❤️🖤

The family described her as a caring woman having an “infectious smile,” whose laughter, jokes, and warmth was contagious. 🥰

The family is seeking to raise $8,000 and to date has raised $1,649. 📈

“Our goal is to raise $8,000, with all funds going directly to our family to help cover the costs associated with her funeral and celebration of life,” said the family. ⚱️
