I came home and found a government DV-related form stuck to my door. That was concerning enough, but when I flipped it over, someone had handwritten: “Your too loud at night. Fighting or loving, parents or not. Care to explain?” with a giant question mark underneath. 😬

I honestly don’t know what to make of it. If a neighbor has a noise complaint, I’d rather they just say that directly. But writing something this personal on the back of an official-looking form and leaving it on my door feels like a pretty strange way to handle it.

Maybe they thought they were being funny, maybe they’re genuinely concerned, or maybe they’re just being nosy. Either way, this definitely wasn’t what I expected to find waiting for me. 📝🚪

How would you interpret this—legitimate concern, passive-aggressive neighbor, or someone crossing a line? 👀👇

I noticed something strange at our local Walmart—the changing room doors apparently no longer have working locks. The spot where the lock should be is just an open hole, meaning there doesn't seem to be any way to actually secure the door while you're changing. 😬

I understand stores have to deal with theft and damaged fixtures, but removing the ability to lock a fitting room feels like a pretty big privacy trade-off. Nobody wants to be halfway through changing clothes and suddenly have a stranger pull the door open because they thought the room was empty. 🛒👕😂

Maybe there’s another system employees are supposed to use, but looking at this setup, I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable relying on someone else to guard the door.

Would you still use a changing room like this, or would no lock be an immediate NO for you? 👇🤔

I’ve worked in the food service industry, so I know how tough the job can be. Because of that, I normally leave at least $5 even when my bill is only around $10.

This time I went out alone, ordered one bowl of ramen, ate by myself, and got a $20.53 bill. When the receipt came, I noticed a $3.08 gratuity had already been added—on a check for ONE person. 😳🍜

I’ve seen automatic gratuity for large parties, but I honestly can’t remember seeing it added to a single-person check like this. I was planning to leave $5, but if the restaurant is automatically deciding the tip for me… well, enjoy the $3.08. 🤷‍♂️💵

Would you still add extra tip, or once gratuity is automatically included, is that the tip? 👇🔥

We just bought a house and while checking out the appliances, I found this gray plastic piece sitting loose in the back of the dishwasher. It’s a Frigidaire Professional, and I have no idea whether this is an actual dishwasher component, a removable filter/basket piece, or just something the previous owners accidentally left behind.

The dishwasher seems complete at first glance, but the shape definitely makes me wonder if it’s supposed to attach somewhere inside. Before I start running cycles and potentially discover the hard way that something important is missing, I figured I'd ask people who might recognize it. 😅

Anyone know exactly what this piece is and where it's supposed to go? Is it an important part that needs to be reinstalled, or can I safely toss it aside? 🧼🍽️👇

I found this little clear plastic piece mixed in with my freshly washed clothes, and I have absolutely no idea where it came from. It looks like several tiny connected plastic beads or tabs, almost like it might have broken off something during the wash or dryer cycle.

I checked pockets and looked around the washer and dryer, but nothing obvious seems to be missing. Now I'm wondering if it's part of the machine, something from a piece of clothing, or just a random object that accidentally made its way into the laundry. 😅

Anyone recognize this thing? Should I be checking my washer or dryer for a missing part, or is this probably something harmless that came off an item of clothing? 🧐👇

I found it in my dishwasher

I don’t know if this has been posted here before but I could use some help identifying what it does and where it goes. The only thing I know is that it came from my dishwasher but I don’t know where to clip it back to — does anyone know?

Can someone tell me what these are actually called?

These are small plastic fasteners (about 1cm tall) that are generally used to attach things to a retail shelf. The bottom part has 4 prongs that you put through the fixture and into a hole in the shelf, then you push the pin into the middle and it and it spreads the prongs to secure the fixture. I need to order more and I have no idea what they’re technically called. Every time I try to search, all I find are either much larger versions that are made to hold car interior panels in place or shelf clips/pins for holding up shelves on a bookshelf. Any help would be appreciated!

🔧 Licensed Plumber or Handyman? What's Your Verdict? 👀

I came across this plumbing work during a remodel, and I'm curious what everyone thinks. At first glance it looks functional, but some of the routing and fittings have me wondering who actually did the install.

If you walked onto this job, would you guess it was done by a licensed plumber or more of a handyman special? What details stand out to you—good or bad? Let's hear your honest opinions. 👇

Any secret to getting these pipes to seat without adding stress to the joints?
Struggling to get this P-trap setup lined up and connected properly. 🚰
Not a plumber, but have basic knowledge and trying to get this drain buttoned up. Any tricks to getting this alignment right so there’s no pressure on the fittings?
