Are you curious about how your comedy idols got started in their careers? Want personalized help reaching all of your comedy goals and leapfrogging over your competition? My name is Barry Katz and, in addition to executive producing “Last Comic Standing,” I’ve been honored to launch the careers of over 25 household names including Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, Wanda Sykes, Tracy Morgan, Bill Burr, Whitney Cummings, Felipe Esparza, and a plethora of other artists who started from humble beginnings and became multi-millionaires.

Whether it be stand-up, sketch/improv, acting, writing, producing, directing, hosting, radio/podcasting, social media influencing...or even if you want a career behind the scenes as a manager or agent…”Blueprint for Success in The Comedy Business,” my extensive Digital Comedy Academy, will give you the powerful tools you need to reach the highest possible levels.

I have channeled over 40 years of my industry knowledge and experience into this expansive program, which is divided into 4 specialized tiers, each with its own set of valuable perks. These range from exclusive interviews; comedy breakdowns of industry veterans; advice from the greatest comedy artists of our generation; 100+ hours of commercial-free content; round table style zoom calls with agents, casting directors, artists, and managers; one-on-one coaching time with me; and so much more. Additionally, there will be a monthly content contest where my team and I will review your material, with the winners receiving a free video consultation call with me.

Today’s throwback Thursday.

22 years ago, I had the honor of working with the legendary comedian Buddy Hackett on the critically acclaimed show for FOX called Action.

We became the best of friends, and the impact that he had on my life was immeasurable.

When he dies I got the call from his wife.

I didn’t know what I meant to him until I showed up at his house and I was the first one there.

Later that night Jay Mohr and Jeff Ross showed up and spent all night with his wife.

40 years ago I was captain of the swim team at Boston University.

Since then up until the pandemic, I gained 45lbs.

The bad news is, you have to see me wearing a Speedo.

The good news is, if you don’t already know, you can tell what religion I am.

PS, am I canceled yet?

Senior year of college, summer of 1981.

I Drove my 67 Camaro that I bought for $200.

I drove from home in Longmeadow Massachusetts to Camp Riley in Indiana, a camp for disabled adults.

Fond memories of this pic, and my only negative thought is that I’ll never be a size 34 waist again.

Today’s throwback Thursday. I had the honor of representing the greatest street performer/comedian in history—Charlie Barnett (Noogie from the original “Miami Vice” /Tyrone in “DC Cab”). Around 1993, he told me he was dying of AIDS and said he wanted to do HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. This is a photo with Charlie, host Martin Lawrence, and me right after the show. Ironically, his set was deemed too offensive for HBO.

I'm Too Curious to Die: What I Learned from Larry King

Hey Everybody,

Are you filled with energy and excitement when you wake up in the morning? Proud of yourself before you go to bed? If not well... you’re not alone.

But what if you could change that your reality - starting today?

👉📲 🔗 RESERVE YOUR SEAT: http://bit.ly/barrykbb 🔗📲👈

What if, by gaining more knowledge (for free) from four people I respect so much, you could be well on your way out of a repetitive and mostly unfulfilling cycle…

And into a life full of energy, purpose, passion and more personal success?!?
If that sounds even a little bit appealing to you then you need to take advantage of this incredibly rare opportunity…

Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi, Russell Brunson and Jenna Kutcher (all soooo successful and impactful) are going LIVE on Thursday, February 27th at 5 pm PST to share their knowledge with you… for free!
And I partnered with them so that my Industry Standard podcast family (that’s you) could have a chance to attend 🙂

To reserve your seat now for this POWERHOUSE training:

👉📲 🔗 RESERVE YOUR SEAT: http://bit.ly/barrykbb 🔗📲👈

I’m so happy that I’ve had the opportunity to learn from these experts and can call them my friends…
But honestly if I had this opportunity when I started my career, it would have accelerated my success by a million. And if you make the time, I’m so confident it will do the same for you…

So the ball’s in your court… you can live the life you have right now and live with it as is, OR:
You can put a little bit of trust in me, based on the 440 episodes of Industry Standard that I have released for during the past 8 years, and attend this free training seminar (where there’s literally no risk here, just value) and take action toward the life you maybe dream about on a weekly or even daily basis.

So claim the life that was designed for you and register right now!

👉📲 🔗 RESERVE YOUR SEAT: http://bit.ly/barrykbb 🔗📲👈

I really believe in this program, so please do everything in your power to make it on February 27th at 5 pm PST, and reserve your place at the most groundbreaking seminar that Tony Robbins has ever been a part of.

I guarantee it will change the way you look at your life…and your business.

Thanx for listening. All the best, Barry
