The founding editor of Land Use LA is Chris Parker, a former writer and editor for the Los Angeles Daily News, Los Angeles Times, and other newspapers in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Since 2002, Chris Parker has been an entitlement consultant for hundreds of projects throughout Los Angeles. His focus has been on Planning & Zoning issues, including but not limited to cases involving Design Review Boards, Zoning Administrator determinations, Coastal Development Permits, Office of Subdivision actions, and lot-line adjustments. With Land Use LA, Chris Parker combines the passion of his new career with the analytical skills of his previous career as an editor and writer.
