The City Council approved new R1 zone variations for 15 neighborhoods yesterday. Now this ordinance - plus changes to the Baseline Hillside Ordinance and Baseline Mansionization Ordinance - are on Mayor Garcetti's desk awaiting his signature. New rules could take effect as early as Monday.
