Matt has spent 20 years executive producing branded content & technology products. His experience includes leadership roles at some of the most iconic advertising and entertainment marketing firms, including stints as Head of Integrated Production for Y&R; Executive Producer of Media Arts at TBWA/Chiat/Day; and as a marketing agent at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Matt has a passion for creating multi- platform branded content and has won numerous awards and distinctions, including Webby’s, Gold Lions; and the Audience Favorite Award at SXSW. He has 3 Emmy Nominations for Best Commercial and his work is part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in NY. He founded Blend in 2015 as a creative production company focused on developing and producing world class branded content, rooted in deep strategic insights, at lean project pricing.
Darcie Lamond, Co Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Blend, has a career history spanning 20+ years that includes both senior executive positions in large corporations, and the founder/CEO role in startups. Darcie began her career in the financial markets, building and running a (top 10) derivatives marketing and trading business for a major US bank, and becoming the bank's first female Senior Vice President (First National Bank Chicago, now Chase). After a (career) pause to start a family, she returned to work for a top U.S. consulting firm, where she secured and led the practice's largest and most pro table project (Arthur Andersen, now Accenture). She founded a software company and brought a health and wellness app to market. At the request of HRH The Prince of Wales, she founded a U.S.-based non-profit micro-finance organization to help young adults start their own businesses, and on behalf of which she spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative.
