Who is Iowa’s best athlete ever?
⠀
My vote goes to Dan Gable, the wrestling LEGEND. Want receipts? In the 1972 Olympics, he won all 6 of his matches without giving up a single *point.* Insane!! 🏅
⠀
Dan made Iowa proud. After winning the national championship twice wrestling for Iowa State University, then winning gold medals in the world championships and the Olympics (!!), Dan went on to coach wrestling for the University of Iowa, including coaching 152 all-Americans and 12 Olympians. He shared his greatness with the future generation of wrestlers in Iowa.
⠀
I’m proud to say my dad was a wrestler from Dan Gable’s same hometown, and they even went to wrestling camp together in high school. Wrestling has always held a special spot in my heart, and Dan Gable put Iowa on the map for it. He forever gets my vote for the greatest athlete to come out of Iowa.
⠀
If you’re an Iowan sports lover, check out the Tipico Sportsbook app, which just launched in Iowa, right here: https://tipico.mvk.co/2qbpb.
⠀
So… who do YOU think is the greatest athlete ever to come out of Iowa? Let’s hear it in the comments! 👇🏼

The perfect combat boot does not exi—
⠀
🤯 WOW. What a store opening! I had such an incredible time attending the opening of the new store at the mall. I fell in love with this Milanese designer’s gorgeous (and unbelievably comfortable!!) real Italian leather shoes and handbags.
⠀
Their newest Autunno Inferno 2022-2023 collection knocked my socks off — literally — so I could try on more shoes! 🧦🥾 Epic colors, beautiful Italian leather, cutting-edge designs… but my gosh, their combat boots just stole the show for me! 🤌🏻
⠀
I had such a hard time choosing between the Aspen combat boots & Siberia combat boots. If I could have an entire closet full of combat boots, I would!
⠀
Check out all my top Michele Lopriore picks on my “Shoes” Story Highlight, and more on their website MicheleLopriore.com.
⠀
You can visit the brand new Michele Lopriore store at the mall on the ground floor, centrally located by the main courtyard (currently Christmas village), between Bloomingdales and Michael Kors.

☃️❄️ Revolve Winterland! ☃️❄️
⠀
Have you started your holiday shopping? Better get on it — there’s one more day for ’s new pop-up, bringing winter magic to Los Angeles with WINTERLAND!
⠀
Sip on hot cocoa or a gingerbread latte & nibble bites from the Revolve Bakery while you browse holiday shops like the Revolve Gift Shop, a stocking stuffer station benefitting charity, and my favorite — the Revolve Cozy Shop, a superb edit of fluffy, warm sweaters. If you’re the crafty type, you can make your own custom holiday wreath or make your own box of cookies. (The lather is the level of craftsmanship I can vibe with! 😂)
⠀
In LA and want to join the fun in the (faux) snow? Tomorrow is Winterland’s last day! It’s free to visit, but you’ll need an RSVP:
⠀
❄️ Sunday Dec 11
❄️ 12pm - 9pm
❄️ RSVP at ’s link in bio

(AD) Cookies + milk… name a better pairing. I’ll wait.
⠀
Oooh! I got one… cookies + CARBON NEUTRAL milk!
⠀
Ladies and gentlemen, Neutral] has entered the chat. 🥛♲ It’s organic, pasture-raised on family farms, and certified carbon neutral.
⠀
I’m personally taking accountability to reduce my carbon footprint, and everyday little choices (like which milk to buy at the store) can help make a positive impact in protecting our planet.
⠀
As consumers, we can choose to put our money where our values are. I love supporting & sharing companies like Neutral], which is the first carbon neutral foods company in the United States. With each milk carton we buy, we support their mission to offset animal agriculture as a contributing factor to climate change.
⠀
You don’t have to look far to reduce your footprint, either. Neutral Milk is available at your local ! Neutral Milk is $2 off through 11/26 with the Target Circle app!!
⠀
Check my Instagram Stories for more stats on the impact Neutral Milk is making in radically reducing the carbon footprint of agriculture for good.
⠀
The solution can start with a glass of milk. Isn’t that a delicious place to start? 🥛🍪

Why I’m voting for Rick Caruso for Mayor of LA. of Rick Caruso

Calling all my LA friends! 🗣

I don’t normally endorse specific candidates on my page, but our beloved city of Los Angeles is in a critical moment. The new mayor will be decided at the polls by Nov 8, and I’m voting for Rick Caruso and you should, too.

He’s a proud Democrat and I agree with him on all the major hot-button issues, but what separates him is his experience as a business leader who’s spent his career building communities in LA. His plans to advance affordable housing, end street homelessness, and reign in crime is SO incredibly needed. Rick Caruso is best chance we’ve got to get LA turned around.

Make your voice heard by Nov 8 and please go vote! Whether it’s dropping your write-in ballot off in the mail (make sure it’s postmarked no later than Nov 8) or going to the polls in person, this election will decide the fate of LA.

VOTE RICK CARUSO for LA MAYOR so we can build a brighter future for our beautiful, vibrant city. 🌴🌇
