The Latina Mom

The Latina Mom Style just can't be bought. Instead of shelling out entire paychecks on a pair of jeans, invest the I spent the rest of my childhood in Los Angeles.

Hello my name is Claudia, I was born in Mexico and came to the San Fernando Valley at the age of 3. I went back to Mexico with my family at the age of 6 but my parents decided it wasn’t the life they wanted for myself and my soon to be baby sister. I went on to college and looked to get a Degree in Liberal Studies and Child Development for Kids with Special Needs. I married my high school sweetheart at the age of 25 and we have been married for 5 years now and now have our son Kai Alessandro. I started a bi-lingual fashion blog in 2013 to express myself through fashion, beauty and lifestyle, and show everyone that you don’t need waste all your money on expensive things. All you need is a little inspiration and creativity, and a whole lot of confidence. My blog has opened up great opportunities for me and allowed me to expand in more ways than I imagined. Everything on the blog is about being realistic with the amount of money we spend on our clothes and beauty products. I love to find the best deals out there for myself and my followers so we can all be able to showcase how it is possible to be fashionable on a Budget.

Mexico City food never misses. 🇲🇽

Craving Wabi Sushi in CDMX where everything was delicious. From the fresh sushi to the flavors and presentation, this was definitely one of those meals I’m still thinking about.

Add to your CDMX trip if you love sushi 🍣 侘 • Wabi Sushi

Yesterday we celebrated Kai’s 10th birthday 🎉 #823

How did we get here so fast? From the little boy in these videos to officially hitting DOUBLE DIGITS. 😭 I’m not ok!

I’ll always miss the tiny versions of you, the little voice, little hands, the hugs, the silly moments and all the stages I thought would last forever. But as much as I wish I could slow time down, I’m so excited to see what these next years bring.

Watching you grow into the funny, kind, sports-loving boy you are has been one of the greatest parts of my life.

Here’s to 10, Kai. 🥳⚽️ Kai Alessandro Garay
A whole new chapter, bigger adventures and so many more memories ahead.

I love you more than you’ll ever know. 🤍🥹🎂

📍Azul Condesa | Mexico City

One dinner I can’t stop thinking about is Azul Condesa in Mexico City. From the moment we walked in, everything felt intentional, the beautiful space, the warm hospitality, and dishes that celebrated Mexican cuisine in the best way. It was one of those meals where every bite made us pause and say, “Okay… I need more of this!!.”

Here’s another little piece of our CDMX adventure. ❤️
If you’re planning a trip to Mexico City, add Azul Condesa to your list you won’t regret it.

Skip one tourist stop and visit this hidden gem in CDMX instead. 📚

Biblioteca Vasconcelos is one of the most stunning places we explored in Mexico City. Whether you love books, architecture, or simply discovering unique places, this spot deserves a place on your itinerary.

Save this for your next trip to CDMX! 🇲🇽

Six full years have flown by, and now we begin year 7 of watching you laugh, grow, and create the sweetest memories with our family.

May we always give you the love, support, and tools you need to be unapologetically YOU. From singing your heart out in the car, asking all the questions, and never being afraid to share exactly how you feel, you make every day brighter. Never stop being curious, kind, fearless, and full of life. We love every bit of your fun, loving, and wonderfully crazy personality. ❤️

Feliz cumpleaños, Kaleb! 🎂🎈 We love you more than words can say.

Ps. had to put a Zedd song because you love all his songs and sing them out loud in the car! 🚙

The boys’ first time at Hurricane Harbor… and plot twist, it was my first time too. 😂

We really chose the hottest day of the summer so far and said, “let’s go to Hurricane Harbor!” Very on brand for us.

This is the first year we got season passes at Six Flags and that includes access to Hurricane Harbor, which is their waterpark.

The boys were living their best life — slides, splash zones, wave pool, fries, burgers & pizza. And by the way, don’t sleep on their Powerade…it’s sooo good!

There’s nothing like watching your kids make a core summer memory and realizing you’re making one right along with them.

10/10 would sweat, splash, snack, and do it all over again. ☀️💦

Did you know Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo actually lived in separate houses connected by a bridge? 🌉🎨

If you’re visiting CDMX, skip Casa Azul and add the Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo to your itinerary. Walking through their homes gives you a completely different perspective on their relationship, their creative process, and how they each lived and worked.

📍 Address: Diego Rivera s/n, San Ángel Inn, Álvaro Obregón, 01060, Ciudad de México, CDMX.

It’s tucked away in the beautiful San Ángel neighborhood and is one of the city’s most underrated museums.

Trust me, this was one of my favorite stops in Mexico City. ❤️
