I’m at my wit’s end trying to get this respiratory sickness under control in my flock. 😞 I feel like I’ve tried everything, and nothing seems to be helping. At this point, nearly all of them are sneezing, so isolating just a few doesn’t seem like it would make much difference. I’ve been treating the whole flock.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Antibiotics, with no improvement
- Electrolytes, no change
- VetRx, no luck
- Ran a steam vaporizer in the coop last night
- Improved ventilation and added a high-powered exhaust fan

And they’re STILL sneezing! 😩

Has anyone dealt with something like this in their flock? What finally helped your chickens recover? I’m looking for advice on what steps to take next because I’m worried about them and don’t know what else to try.

I think my hens are BROKEN!! 😂🐔 They were born in April and are about 7 months old, and I haven’t gotten a single egg yet! Not ONE! 😅

We live in NorCal, and they free-range around our yard during the day, then sleep in their little house and pen at night. They eat layer feed and scratch, but their absolute favorite treat is peanuts. 🥜😂

I’ve tried yelling, “LAY ME AN EGG!!!” but apparently that’s not getting the message across. 🤣

Seriously though, is this normal? Is there something I’m missing, or do I just have a bunch of little freeloaders? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Picture with my sweet Loki, their fearless leader. ❤️🐶🐓

Y’all, I have a question! 🐔 Is this setup safe for my chickens with their heat lamp during the winter? I want to make sure everyone stays warm without creating a safety hazard.

Also, before anyone comes for me, this is NOT what their coop normally looks like! 😂 I’ve been gone, and it’s cleaning day, so things are a little messy right now.

I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions! ❤️

Y’all, help me solve this little mystery! 🐣💙 I hatched this cutie from a blue egg about 8 weeks ago, and I’m curious what breed it might be.

The funniest part? This chick has **10 toes!** 😂🐔

Anyone have any guesses on the breed or what might cause the extra toes? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Y’all, I’ve been in this group for a little while now, and I finally get to share my own exciting chicken milestone! 🥹🐔

I grew up around chickens but haven’t had any of my own as an adult. Well, I recently brought home four hens, and TODAY I GOT MY FIRST EGG!!! 🥚❤️

Nobody on my Facebook seems to understand why I’m so excited, so I knew I had to share it with my chicken people! 😂

I’m over here celebrating one little egg like I won the lottery! Thank you for being such a fun group. I love this page! ❤️🐓

Well, this handsome guy just showed up in our yard, soaking wet but surprisingly calm! 🐓 He hasn’t shown any aggression toward us or our three hens. We kept the girls in their coop as usual, but when they came out, they walked right past him like he wasn’t even there. 😂 They’ve never been around a rooster before!

I’m curious if anyone can help identify his breed and give me an idea of how old he might be.

I’d also appreciate any advice on what to do next. Our girls are strictly egg layers, not meat birds or breeders, so I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle this unexpected visitor.

Thanks in advance for any information! ❤️

Hey everyone! 😂 I’m risking getting roasted for this question, but I’m asking anyway!

I bought a brand-new chicken waterer, and every time I fill it and put the top back on, the water just pours right over the sides until the whole thing is empty. 🤦‍♀️

Yes, it’s sitting level. Yes, I checked, and the rubber grommet is still in place.

Before I run this thing over with my truck out of pure frustration, what am I missing?! Is there some trick to these waterers that my tiny brain hasn’t figured out yet? 😂🐔

Please help save this poor waterer from its impending doom!

Alright y’all, go ahead and break my heart… 😅🐔 Do I have a handsome little roo or a sweet little hen on my hands? I’m ready for the verdict, even if it’s not the one I’m hoping for! 😂❤️
