Metal Assault Records is very excited to announce its newest signing, a truly one-of-a-kind band. Globally touring mash-up metal band BEATALLICA has joined the MAR roster and will release their fourth full-length album, and their first in more than seven years, via our label in the year 2021. Fo
2020 has been a challenging year in many ways, but for me, mostly because I couldn't book any events past March. The MA events, specially the release shows, are a close tie-in and a huge component of how I run #MetalAssaultRecords. What I undoubtedly love most about music is its live performance aspect, and the total absence of it has been a glaring omission not only for my label, but in my life as a whole.
But I had to transition to survive, and put out new releases despite the inability to hold any release shows. In 2020, the label put out 8 full releases and 3 digital-only releases of its own, as compared to just 3 full releases in 2019, which has resulted in a 10x increase in the label's sales volume from 2019 to 2020.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank my entire artist roster for keeping the creative flame burning, the artists that contributed to the two #MetalAssaultMixtape releases that came out this year, and most of all, to everyone that supported the artists and the label by making a purchase.
Much more to come in 2021. Hails and horns. 🙏🤘
