“The Goat Life” is such a remarkable film! I could not hold back tears as I watched the gut wrenching performances of Jimmy Jean-Louis and Prithviraj Sukumaran the other night. This film exemplified the power of having unwavering faith, belief in ones self and undeniable determination to overcome life’s biggest challenges. It was raw and authentic with highly devoted actors who fully committed themselves to telling this true story of Najeeb Muhammed who was abducted and forced into slavery as a goat herder in Saudi Arabia. As I type this, I’m still in disbelief.😳

The cast and crew faced obstacles both on and off screen dealing with real sand storms in the middle of the desert, the pandemic along with complications you can’t even imagine and yet still, THEY ROSE.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I commend Screenplay Writer and Director Blessy for continuing to move forward with his vision of bringing this story to life so masterfully. This film deserves all the praise it receives. Congratulations once again gentlemen!🎬✨

The inspiration continued to flow when I got the opportunity to watch the screening of William Goldenberg’s, “Unstoppable” starring the iconic , the brilliant and the legendary who all delivered such strong performances! With a line up like that, it was no surprise the film would be as captivating and heartfelt as it was.🙌🏾🔥🔥 It’s based on the remarkable life of wrestler, Anthony Robles (). What an incredible story! The Director and cast interview afterwards had the audience teary eyed hearing the reactions of Anthony Robles and his mother who are both very proud of the film. Congratulations on the awards the film has received thus far❤️❤️❤️

Last weekend, I had the honor of attending the screening for “Nickel Boys” which was such a brilliant film masterfully told by Director . Also based on a true story with compelling performances by the remarkable , and Brandon Wilson.🤩The cinematography was beautiful and the unexpected ending tied it all together in such a powerful way. A body of work I’m sure the whole cast is truly proud of.👌🏾❤️❤️💫

I feel so blessed to be invited into spaces like these three (see previous post) where I can witness the greatness of friends and fellow peers within the industry. These productions took a whole lot of work, dedication and talent from everyone involved and I love to see their hard work paying off. With stories like these brought to life on screen and shared with the world, it’s artistry like this that will keep pushing this industry forward and I’m here for it!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Wait…you didn’t think Amphibia lived on Monster Beach alone, did you?! 👀 lol Big shout out to the whole cast of crazy characters who made the cartoon a whole lot of fun!☺️🐙🏖️ I couldn’t be more grateful to have worked with such an incredibly talented cast who gave each character so much personality. I learned a great deal from you guys thank you!🙌🏾 Working alongside you all was a dream come true and I’ll forever look back on these memories shared with you, my monster fam.🥰🥰

Since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of being a cartoon character. Every Saturday morning, I was excited to wake up for my favorite shows and I imagined myself being a part of those colorful, happy adventures but to see it actually come true??😳🙌🏾 I am so honored to have been able to breathe life into Amphibia, a character so close to my heart. Everything in her character breakdown resonated with me, especially her Caribbean roots and love for meditation - WOW. What an honor🥹

Today, I want to express my gratitude to the creators of this award-winning animation, Monster Beach! It truly took a team of brilliant minds to bring this production to life. 🙌🏾 Each scene is full of vibrant colors, quirky characters, fun, laughter and excitement which is a testament to their passion, creativity and sense of humor.🤭 A huge thank you to Directors Patrick Crawley and Sean Zwan for allowing me to be part of this production and . Special thanks to Casting Director/Production Manager Shelley Ann Taylor and Samantha Jewell from for believing in me.🙏🏾 To my fellow cast members, you guys are A-MAZING!!! I’m continually inspired by your talent.🌟From the writers who crafted Amphibia’s voice to the animators who gave her color and movement, thank you for pouring your hearts into every detail. I absolutely love her!💚💜💚💜
