In the third episode of the award winning series Detective Jack DeWitt, we embark to the bitter cold of Stalingrad, Russia, during one of the most pivotal battles in the second world war, and the bloodiest. This was, in part, the result of necromancy from the Third Reich and the Thule, in particular the notorious Commandant Hans Keppler, who's in search for the Orb of Atlantis, and will stop at nothing till its in his clutches.

A rendezvous with a beautiful Russian agent of the 62rd Red Army goes awry, shootouts in Austrian patisserie shops, comrades are betrayed, all the while Hans Keppler and Reichsinspekteur Ingmar Manstein dig feverishly for the object in the haunted site of Herxheim, Germany, an ancient burial mound of a thousand bones.

Yet, is DeWitt doing a service for the spectral Randolph C. Marloe, or will gathering this cursed artifact may be his undoing? Join the team as they battle corrupt officials, an avalanche, snow snipers, zombies, a burning Zeppelin, and a cult that's bent on dominating the globe.
