Anyone else happy to move on from a robot litterbox and return to box-scooping servitude, or is that just me?
We had a Popur x5 automatic litterbox for 2 years. Year one, I’d have told you I loved the thing dearly, it worked perfectly and was nice and roomy for the cats. Year two, things slowly started failing, and taking the whole system apart to try to fix it was a huuuge job for my small one bedroom apartment.

Towards the end, it was just gross all the time, squishing the clumping litter and things constantly getting stuck to the cloth liner. It just felt gross to have in my otherwise tidy home. Plus, the thing took up a massive amount of floor space. Yesterday, it was finally time to chuck it and either buy a new one, or go back to a regular old box. So I set myself up a nice tidy little litter cleaning space for a fraction of the cost of a robot, and it honestly feels so much nicer and cleaner. It’s a huge box for the cat and takes up half the space the robot did. JMHO. I wanted to love the not-scooping but it feels like my little zen space when I get the litter all clean and smoothed out 🤣

My baby girl is ✨EIGHT✨ tomorrow and I’m emotional 😫🥺
Her name is Poet and she is the love of my life 💛 together we’ve been through so much (including moving halfway across the country!!) but everything has always worked out for us. This little ginger ninja brings such joy to my life every single day. She is so incredibly sassy yet so sweet when she wants to be 🤣🤣 our absolute favourite thing to do together is go for walks on the farm and me watch her roll around in the gravel like a little piglet 🐽🐷 We also love having naps with her designated spot being between my legs like a furry weighted blanket 🥺

I could write a novel about how great she is but honestly…words cannot sum up just how incredible that little 2.5kg ball of fur and cattitude is 🥹 I couldn’t imagine my life without her because she is my world 🌏🌏🌏

I got her a new cat tree that I gave her tonight which she loves and tomorrow we shall indulge in a long walk together and rollies with plenty of treats 😊

17 and went to sleep today
My poor baby has not been doing too good lately and early this morning she crashed. We took her in knowing there was a good chance she wouldn’t come home. Vets believe she might have had a stroke and put her down at 3:20. I miss her so much.

How old is this cat? Hitched a ride under my car and ran into my apartment when I got home
This cat was a stowaway in my car from work until I got home. I thought the sound I heard was birds or my tires or something. Once I got home and unlocked my front door it ran in with me and climbed me like a tree. Luckily unharmed, seems healthy, does anyone have a good guess on how old it is? I’ve never had a kitten; I only adopted a grumpy old cat last year. Another issue my cat hates other cats, it said on her paperwork that she has to be the only pet. But I couldn’t just throw this kitten back outside! It’s cold and dangerous out there. Help

Picking up a sibling pair tomorrow - help me name the girl cat please!
So we’re adopting both her and her brother (who we’re naming Pete, my son loves Pete the Cat so that one was easy). I’m stuck on a name for this beauty though! I like human names (my golden retriever is named Steve), so I’m looking for something that goes well with Pete and Steve.

Unfortunately his poor little body just gave into the lymphoma and it was time to go. He was the best boy and I'll deeply miss him.
