Wedding days can be overwhelming, even emotionally exhausting.

But there’s a beautiful way to counteract that overwhelm.

Take time for private connection.

Ellie and Adrian embraced this idea wholeheartedly by including a first touch and private vow reading into their wedding day. And it was just the pressure release they needed, helping them feel strengthened by each other’s love and support.

There’s something undeniably beautiful about a widescreen format. It just feels so cinematic, so perfect in conveying a sense of scale and space.

The downside is that in today’s world of social media, widescreen formats don’t translate well to a vertical format, forcing creators to have to cut their gorgeous films to fit the screen. And every time we post a film, we’re forced to make a hard choice:

Do we crop it vertically to make it more phone-friendly?

Rotate the footage to fill the screen and risk it looking weird?

Post widescreen and hope people will still engage even though it looks so small?

It’s a tough choice.
