➡️ Comment: TONEDARMS for more fast and insanely effective 10-minute workouts to tone and build muscle inside my Total Toned Arms program loved by thousands of women of all ages and fitness levels 💪🏻
Because sometimes you just need a GOOD strength session that doesn’t take a lot of time. This one is a recent fav 👇
1️⃣ back lunge with row
2️⃣ suitcase squat curl to overhead press
3️⃣ plank pull-throughs
4️⃣ bridge chest press
10 reps then repeat all four exercises three times though. It will clock in at just over ten minutes and you’ll feel so strong afterwards!
These little exercise snippets CAN make a difference in your body composition and/or fat loss journey when you combine challenging weights with really “bang-for-your-buck” exercises.

Other ideas for strength circuits to mix it up could be a combo of any of these:
•Romanian deadlift with a bicep curl at the top
•Static lunge with a chest fly
•Goblet squat with a heel raise
•Lateral lunge with an upright row

I’ll always be a fan of walking, BUT…

In my own journey I learned there is a difference between doing it as a means for daily activity vs using it as a tool for FAT LOSS.

As a certified perimenopause coach, many of my clients think they want to lose weight but what they actually want is to look leaner and more toned.

Walking can help with overall calories burned to get you closer, but for fat loss you need a better strategy.

And it goes in order of what you need to focus on FIRST, which is watching your caloric intake and getting enough lean protein and fiber (this will undoubtedly help you get leaner as you are hitting those step goals)

SECOND is a planned fitness routine that incorporates both strength AND shorter sessions of cardio - this helps you boost your base metabolic rate and burn more calories (even at rest).

This is true especially if you’re over 40 and in your perimenopause/menopause season of life.

🤚But first - a workout without a plan is just a workout. A plan gets RESULTS! This two-superset arms workout is so quick but so good! Here’s what you’re going to do:
SUPERSET 1️⃣: 12 shoulder presses into 12 reverse-grip bent over rows
15 second rest
SUPERSET 2️⃣: 12 cross-body hammer curls into 12 upright rows
15 second rest
Repeat those two supersets for a total of three rounds clocking this arm workout in at under 10 minutes. Be sure to use a medium to heave set of dumbbells so that you’re challenging the muscles. The last rep or two of each exercise should be hard!
