As the country genre continues to grow in popularity, the history and roots of it continue to disappear. In this article, the favor of White men within the country music industry is brought up as extremely accurate even though the true roots of Country music are linked to early Black American music. Country artists of color, especially women, have had a huge impact on the genre, however, it goes almost completely unnoticed. Due to this erased history, Rissi Palmer has decided to speak out.

Wish our Creative Director Natalia Bortolotti good luck tonight as she was an audio engineer (sound designer) for THREE Grammy nominated songs: "Intentions" by Justin Bieber, "Don't Start Now" and "Break My Heart" by Dua Lipa! Congratulations and good luck Natalia!!

As the first female host, she made it one to remember, by not being afraid to blaze the trails for comic relief and raunchy jokes! Since Goldbergs accomplishment, only 3 other women have been able to host the Grammy's.
