🚨 DUI Checkpoint in Yuba City – July 18 🚨

Heads up, Yuba City! The Yuba City Police Department (YCPD) will be setting up a DUI checkpoint on Thursday, July 18th, from 7 PM to 1 AM at a central location in the city.

This checkpoint is part of an effort to reduce drunk driving and make our streets safer. Locations are chosen based on data from DUI-related crashes—so stay alert and drive sober.

Don’t drink and drive. It’s not worth the risk.
Plan ahead: use a rideshare, call a friend, or stay the night.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office - Lake Elsinore/Wildomar Station, will hold a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Driver’s License Checkpoint on Saturday, June 07, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am at an undisclosed location within the city of Wildomar.

Checkpoint locations are chosen based on a history of DUI crashes and arrests. The primary purpose of checkpoints is not to make arrests, but to promote public safety by deterring drivers from driving impaired.

During the checkpoint, deputies will look for signs that drivers are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The safety of our community is and always will be our mission. Driving under the influence is dangerous and puts a further strain on critical resources.
