5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Kick off the festival with an exclusive Art Exhibit and Discussion featuring Emory Douglas, the iconic former Minister of Culture with the Black Panther Party. Engage with powerful artworks that highlight cultural resilience and social justice.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21
9:30 AM: Opening Ceremony to set the tone for an incredible day.
ALL DAY: High-vibration sounds from DJ Aba Shaka, the βMusical Bush Doctor.β
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Live performance by festival headliner Mausiki Scales & The Common Ground Collective. Enjoy their vibrant blend of Afrobeat, funk, hip hop, soul, jazz, and blues.
