Community appreciation post: Thank you for coming out to our shows and classes! What a space we’re building. This post is dual-purpose: We’re also up for the .skip growth grant, and we’d love to put these funds to work expanding our offerings: Accessible, diverse musical offerings, including our community open mic nights, sliding scale workshops, music lessons & courses, and non-musical events as well. We’ll soon have a small elevated stage, and our space is available for rentals and partnerships, including shows, rehearsals, and workshops like sound baths, meditation, and more!
This grant — and your contributions to our Go Fund Me — will go toward expanding these offerings, upgrading our space (stage, sound, and exterior signage), and marketing reach-out to our diverse local community.

Songsmith supports the local young artist and songwriter community through donation-based shows and events, and our workshops, music lessons, and gathering space. We have accessible membership levels, and work to elevate women and musicians of color.
