Watan News

About us:
Watan News is an independent news enterprise, issued by Watan News LLC, and founded by Nazem Mahdawi in 1991 in Washington as a monthly paper publication. In 1993, Watan News released its work from Los Angeles, California-based, creating world-class content that informs millions of audiences around the USA and all over the world. Watan News has a bright history in covering human rights issues and political stories that media outlets are unable to cover due to censorship issues, as it has launched the first Arab news website on the network by the year 1996 in a way that contributes to supporting media over the regions. We create our niche in the marketplace by providing true stories from its recourses. We are committed to achieving due accuracy. Mission Statement

We strive to keep abreast of the continuous developments related to the media field, ensuring high standards of accuracy and impartiality, and to be above the expected level by building strong professional relationships with our audiences based on trust, honesty, and transparency. Our Vision

We believe that the promotion of general values and principles is one of our responsibilities towards all people, where trust, honesty, fairness, independence, integrity, transparency, and credibility is a must. As we also develop our resources in a way that present all parties' perspective without any bias upon their races, cultures, or beliefs, observing transparency in dealing with these resources.
