“Mr. Boosin Padklang, ASEAN War Criminal of 2025”

Throughout the five days of fighting between Cambodia and Thailand, from July 24, 2025, until the ceasefire agreement on July 28, 2025, numerous pieces of evidence indicate that Mr. Boosin Padklang, the commander of the 2nd Military Region of Thailand, is the ASEAN War Criminal of 2025. This commander of the 2nd Military Region of Thailand has transformed a purely technical border dispute into an armed conflict, with the aim of swallowing Cambodian territory, without caring about international law and condemnation from the international community.
The military operation against the legally stationed Cambodian soldiers in the Ta Man Temple and Ta Krabey Temple areas, under the command of Mr. Boosin Padklang, the commander of the 2nd Military Region of Thailand, is an attack with the premeditated intention of invading Cambodian territory because the commander of the 2nd Military Region had openly declared before launching the attack on Cambodia that the attack on Cambodia would only take three days, and everything would be permanently ended. Finally, on July 24, 2025, Thai soldiers launched the attack on Cambodian soldiers, the Ta Man Temple area, and others, without caring about international law.
During the five nights and six days of his illegal military operation, under the direct command of Mr. Boosin Padklang, Thai soldiers did not hesitate to use F-16 aircraft equipped with long-range missiles, cluster bombs, and poisonous gas to attack Cambodian soldiers, civilian locations, innocent people's homes, schools, and religious sites, monasteries, causing citizens, monks, and soldiers to lose their lives. At the same time, tens of thousands of Cambodian citizens evacuated their homes in a great hurry.
After July 28, 2025, after a ceasefire took effect, a group of Thai soldiers arrested 20 Cambodian soldiers who were unarmed and were already implementing the ceasefire. At the same time, under the command of their 2nd Military Region commander, Thai soldiers continued to violate the ceasefire by laying barbed wire on Cambodian territory and other disputed areas, including using rubber slingshots to attack Cambodian troops in order to advance into Cambodian sovereignty, without caring about the present of military attachés and international observers.
Not satisfied with the attack on Cambodia, on August 11, 2025, the sharp words like bullets of Mr. Boosin Padklang, the commander of the 2nd Military Region of Thailand, echoed around the world regarding the plan to attack and seize the Ta Krabey and Ta Man Temple area, which are located in Cambodian sovereignty, without fail before he retires in about 50 days. This act clearly shows that Thailand really has new ambitions to violate Cambodian sovereignty, violate international law, and clearly violate the ceasefire.
The fierce plan of Mr. Boosin Padklang, the commander of the 2nd Military Region of Thailand, has clearly shown to the international community, ASEAN, the United States, and China that it is a violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, the ASEAN Charter, the Geneva Conventions, the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the Hague Convention of 1954, the UNESCO Convention, the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
This evidence clearly points out that this commander of the 2nd Military Region of Thailand is an ASEAN War Criminal of 2025, whose national and international jurisdiction, namely the Thai and Cambodian local courts, as well as the International Criminal Court, can open an investigation on this commander of the 2nd Military Region of Thailand to be held accountable under the law.
