Uh Huh - loved this one for years, glad to have a clear version to rock to.
I Hear You Voice - Patti’s version pales in comparison to P’s. The part “I even bought a new dress, but when I put it on” how badly do u have to miss someone that you’d do that? I know it was for Patti or Rosie but P sings it with conviction.
Willing and Able (12 inch) - BEST version of this song ever!!!
The Flow - a fun track to bop to and Geechie Dan Buford does the whole damn thing on this one!
3 Chains of Gold - work performance, cool to hear, nothing stands out better than the album version
Rave! Church style - so much fun!
Love 2 a the 9’s - another work track that doesn’t stand out from the album version
With this Tear - could have been the BEST prince ballad of all time, but he gave it to Celine and it’s one of her best.. as much as I love her version, I’m forever loving P’s version more!
Goodbye - cool track that’s clearly an idea that we don’t know if it’s finished or not, would love to hear the whole version
Arrogance - was excited at a 6 minute version, but it’s another work track, that has nothing more exciting than the album version.
Baby Doll - Another gem! This one was apparently written for or ordered to Kylie Minogue but either way, it’s funky and it’s a whole vibe!
Race - a totally different take than the “Come” released version. I think this one is going to grow on me.
51 Hours - basically the same as the Diamond and Pearl released single.
blood is thicker than time/house in order - 2 that I’ve wanted to hear P’s voice on since the Mavis album, but.. definitely disappointed that they were demo tracks for her, as P didn’t put any feeling into the delivery of either of these.
1,000 hugs & kisses - a cool version of this one that is way different than Nona’s version or the later released P version.
Halls of Desire - cool to hear P’s version of this, nothing outstanding here, but still cool
Paris 17984302 - this one surprised me how cool it is with P’s vocals on it!
The P - nothing special here
Extraordinary - same version as the Vault release.
Face 2 Face - using the beat to Forever In My Life (1987) - this one has an element of Space (1994) - and is my fave of the tracks on here I hadn’t heard before.
The Ryder Dyvine - same version as the bootlegged “crayons” version. Sonny T on lead.
In the middle of the night - would love to hear more than a 90 second snippet of this one
There - a beautiful piano/vocal that has potential, and would love to hear more of this!
Superhero - the P version of the EW&F version .. I have always dug this song, love P’s version.. the best version is still the NPG version with Outta Space included
Remember Me - a cool uplifting ballad possibly worked out for the “I’ll do anything” soundtrack or maybe in place of sweet baby? I dug this one also
Holly Don’t Care - an early version of Baby Don’t Care (mayte’s album)
Dreams - this one is called a demo but it’s another beautiful ballad that is a hidden gem! Easily one of my faves on this set.
All in all I’ll give this 4&1/2 outta 5 ⭐️’s. The only real criticism is the one minute snippets and the P. But it’s so good and I hope the estate are kicking their own asses for not releasing this when they had it ready to go.
