- I can't stop wondering if I made the decision too fast. Scout was struggling to breathe, and everything happened so quickly. At the clinic he kept whining under his breath, nose glued to the floor and then lifting into the air like he was trying to figure out where I'd taken him. He even sniffed toward someone's treats once. That absolutely broke me.
I couldn't afford the thousands they wanted upfront. When I finally agreed to let him go, I asked for another minute with him awake, but suddenly Scout was asleep. I know he was struggling, but I'll always wonder if more treatment could've helped him recover. I would've spent anything if I'd had it. I just wanted to take my Beagle home again.

Hi, it’s me… Rev. 🧡
I’ve had a very exhausting 15 minutes this morning .
I ate.
I went outside.
I came back inside.
I squeaked a few toys .
I wrestled with the cat .
Now it’s nap time .
Mom told me to move over … she said I’m hogging the blanket .
I gave her this look so she could have a minute to reconsider what she just said. 👀😂
I don’t see the problem. 😂🧡🐶
I was here first. Adjust accordingly.

Technically, he is a hunting dog. Practically, he is a very comfortable beagle who has never seen a reason to pursue anything that wasn’t edible. 😂

I bought this little frog thinking it would be another toy my dog destroyed in a couple of days. 🐸

But somehow… this one is different.

Weeks later, he still carries it everywhere. He cuddles with it, plays tug-of-war with it, chews on it, and somehow always manages to find it when he wants his favorite toy.

The soft plush body makes it perfect for snuggles, while the rope legs turn playtime into a full-on adventure.

At this point, it’s not just a toy anymore.

It’s his little best friend. 💚🐶
