Just this week, we have the Memorial of St. Irenaeus, Bishop and Martyr (Monday), Solemnity of Sts. Peter & Paul, Apostles (Tuesday), Optional Memorial of the First Martyrs of the Holy Roman Church (Wednesday), Memorial of St. Junipero Serra (Thursday), and the Feast of St. Thomas, Apostle (Saturday). Nope, the Catholic Church doesn’t take the summer off.
