ARRIVED™ Los Angeles got a sneak preview of Beverly Center’s Y2K era “Cool Down at BEV” on Thursday, June 26. The summer kick-off party promoted its newest series launching this July featuring nostalgic games, vintage photo ops—including a cover mock-up of ARRIVED™ Los Angeles magazine, a live DJ dropping cool beats, tray passed chicken biscuits and mini key lime tarts by Yardbird, Nicolas Eatery sliders with sautéed onions, lobster rolls, a cocktail and mocktail bar, and soft serve scoops by Creamy Bros. Hotel professionals and their guests also got to experience Bloomingdale’s INITIO Parfums Privés custom fragrance bar and enjoyed getting reacquainted with some fun retro games. Beverly Center’s General Manager, Brian Parent, was on hand to welcome everyone and Marketing & Sponsorships Director, Celia Soudry, gave insight on the “Cool Down at BEV” series that officially launches on July 12 and runs through August 16. Beverly Center’s Marketing Specialist, Haley Williams, shared details about the shopping center’s Concierge Incentive Program before raffling off several Beverly Center raffle prizes including a custom Bloomingdale’s gift basket. The grand prize, compliments of Tony Riccio at Maverick Helicopters, was a roundtrip helicopter flight for two to Catalina Island. Each guest got to take home a Beverly Center tote bag filled with gift cards to return to L.A.’s iconic shopping and dining destination that features a curated collection of luxury, fashion and designer brands.

On Tuesday, June 24, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s TEAMS (Tourism, Entertainment, Arts, Media, & Sports) committee focused its agenda on reaching the hospitality industry. Approximately 40 Hollywood Chamber members turned out at the Chamber’s offices to hear about the global outreach efforts from Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board’s Chief Industry Relations Office, Patti MacJennnett. ARRIVED™ Los Angeles magazine Publisher, Jeff Levy, was also on the agenda to enlighten the group on reaching travelers through in-room and concierge resources. Los Angeles Concierge Association President, Chamian Coates of the Four Seasons Los Angeles, discussed high-touch, personalized assistance the concierge community provides through the expertise of its network of members. And Airbnb’s Lizzy Joelson and John Bassett provided insight on Airbnb Experiences—tourism activities curated by local experts. The Hollywood Chamber’s TEAMS Committee Chair, Ilysha Buss, of The Original Farmers Market coordinated this special meeting and the group continues to dedicate its efforts to improving and shaping the future of the Hollywood business community.

On Wednesday, June 18, Vibrato Grill Jazz in Bel Air, hosted the Los Angeles Concierge Association for its monthly meeting. Concierges from Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and the greater Los Angeles area got the opportunity to experience Vibrato in the venue’s private Balcony Room with premium views overlooking the stage. Members convened first to review business matters and then a reception followed that included corporate sponsors and Gold Key Partners with tray passed bites and cocktails. Vibrato is managed by Herb Albert’s daughter and business partner, Eden Alpert, who welcomed the group and gave insight on the venue’s world-class music programming and its contemporary American cuisine. Guests enjoyed jazz tunes by legendary bassist Nathan East and rising star pianist Noah East, who brought their powerful father-son synergy to Vibrato for the first time, celebrating the Los Angeles debut of their acclaimed jazz album "Father Son."

On Wednesday, May 21, the Montana Avenue Merchant Association hosted a private Concierge Tour of Montana Avenue. The stroll began at Estell Boutique and then included a curated walking tour featuring some of Montana’s best boutiques, specialty shops, restaurants, outdoor coffee shops and juiceries, along with visits to cutting-edge wellness and relaxation experiences. Guests got to enjoy tastings, exclusive offers and everyone received a parting gift bag. The Montana Avenue Merchants Association or MAMA, established 1979, represents the businesses on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica to promote and market the Montana Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) as a vital, safe, unique place for shopping, dining, and enjoyment.

On Wednesday, May 28, the Los Angeles Concierge Association held its monthly meeting at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse at Westfield Century City. Before the meeting, members toured the retail and dining center with Westfield’s Concierge Manager, Priscilla Alvarez, who introduced must-do experiences and first-to-market retailers. Members then met privately at Del Frisco’s to discuss business matters and then included general sponsors and Gold Key Partners during a hosted reception featuring appetizers and drinks. LACA President, Chamian Coates, highlighted the LACA’s Corporate Sponsorship Recognition Campaign and then recognized and thanked the Del Frisco’s team for hosting the group. Del Frisco’s specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood and boasts an award-winning wine list.
