On Wednesday, September 10, ARRIVED™ Los Angeles partnered with the Montana Avenue Merchant Association to host a group of hospitality professionals and introduced them to this charming westside avenue of curated boutiques, artisanal grocers, sumptuous dining options, cutting-edge beauty and wellness resources, personal and business services, and so much more. The afternoon kicked off at TerraTorry restaurant where proprietor, Bahareh Zahedi, sources her farm-to-table menu from local ranchers and fishermen and a philosophy that “food should be honest, seasonal, and rooted in care.” She presented a beautiful grazing table featuring local Santa Monica Farmers’ Market cuisine. Guests then boarded two BH Rides Mercedes Sprinters and were off to meet the nearly two dozen Montana Avenue merchants including: Aesop, Buena Vida Tea Bar & Garden, Citron, Curated Los Angeles, David Tishbi Jewelry, Engel & Völkers Santa Monica, Estell Boutique, Frankie’s on the Park, Master Lash by Charity, McCall’s Meat & Fish Co., Moondance Jewelry, Naked Cashmere, O&V CA, Paper Source, Restore Hyper Wellness, STARKx, Ten Women Gallery, Woof Santa Monica, and Zibby’s Bookshop. The evening culminated with a closing party at Divine Vintage wine bar where proprietors, Jenny Rush and Nick Dumergue of Blue Plate Restaurant Group, hosted wine pourings and catered in taquitos from their sister restaurant Blue Plate Taco Santa Monica. Montana Avenue merchants and retailers from the afternoon tours joined the group at Divine Vintage to enjoy sips and network with hotel concierges. The evening culminated with raffle prizes including a grand prize trip for two to Catalina Island, compliments of Maverick Helicopters’ John Buch and Tony Riccio.

The Montana Avenue Merchants Association or MAMA, established 1979, represents the businesses on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica to promote and market the Montana Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) as a vital, safe, unique place for shopping, dining, and enjoyment. Board Members Heidi Dedrick, Stella Shirman, Michelle Kelly, Tanna Harris and Kara Taub were instrumental in coordinating the ARRIVED™ Los Angeles Autumn Tour.
