Dash Weddings is a boutique DJ and Entertainment booking company that has been crafting custom mixes, inspiring dance floors, and elevating special events across the country since our inception in 2005. Established to bridge the gap between the club and Special Events worlds, Dash’s roster represents highly-skilled established and emerging DJs. Known for their ability to mix, blend, scratch, mash

up and read a crowd, our DJs can appropriately set the mood and ambience for a corporate cocktail event, or build the energy to a rave-inducing-can’t find-your-face-dance-explosion for a wedding under the stars. As DJs with thousands of events under our belt, we know what makes an epic party. While music is the critical linchpin of a successful event, we wanted more. We love to create whole experiences—forging musical elements with well-crafted Sound Design, thoughtfully orchestrated Lighting Design, and fantastic Live Entertainment. With all of these services under our banner, Dash Entertainment has launched thousands of incredible events and created crazy-happy memories for clients across the country.

When your groom is a massive rugby fan and doesn’t want to miss the big game on his wedding day what do we do? We bring out one of our LED Walls. No WiFi in the desert? No problem. We used and and pulled it off without a hitch. They say happy wife, happy life. And happy groom, well er… happy groom 😜

Big shout-out to event planner David Pressman and an amazing team of vendors. Dash Weddings supplied generators, lighting, LED Wall, 4 unique sound systems for the 4 areas the wedding took place over (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) + personally DJ’ed this one.

Dance-floor and other shots from the wedding of Shelby & Andrew at The Emerson Estate in Thermal CA this past October.

Dash Entertainment worked with event planner David Pressman and an amazing team of vendors. We supplied generators, lighting, an LED Wall, 4 unique sound systems for the 4 areas the wedding took place at (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) + personally DJ’ed this one. The groom was a big rugby fan so we setup a Starlink satellite dish and connected it to an LED wall for a pre-ceremony game. Then the following day during the Sunday brunch they used the LED wall to watch a couple more games.

We always love getting these reviews: "DJ Shane was amazing! He helped create the perfect mood and soundtrack for our big day, was super professional and personable at each step, and I couldn't be more happy! He had the best attitude, played the best songs, at the best time, and even got through a few of our crazy traditions (the dabke dance and soul train dance off). Sadly (or happily?), we won't be getting married again but, if we did, we'd 100% choose DJ Shane and Dash again."

We are absolutely thrilled to have had our very own DJ Eric as a part of the unforgettable wedding celebration of Wolfgang, son of the legendary Eddie Van Halen, and the beautiful Andraia Allsop.

As Andraia gracefully walked down the aisle with her father, the timeless classic "Everybody Loves Somebody" by Dean Martin set the perfect tone for their special moment.

What made this day even more unique and heartwarming was Andraia's choice to have her grandmothers as the flower girls, creating a touching and unforgettable memory.

"I'm sure our DJ is going to look at some of these songs and be like, 'What?'" Wolfgang said. But as Andraia notes, "When I talked to our DJ, he was very excited about our vision. The one thing that I want is for Wolfie to have his moment with one of his favorite bands, Meshuggah."

Wolfgang explains with a grin, "They're very progressive metal, and to anyone unfamiliar, it might just sound like death metal, especially to those over 40. But you know what? It's my wedding, and I'll do whatever I want."

We extend our heartfelt thanks to DJ Eric for representing Dash Entertainment with such finesse and professionalism. Special thanks to the Van Halen family for choosing us to be a part of this remarkable day. 🎉🎶

This wedding gets a super special shout out because it happens to be one of our very best friend getting hitched! We've had some amazing perks of the job, but nothing beats that pull of the heart strings seeing your best bro marry the love of his life... And then dancing the night away as one of our very own, DJ Amber, threw down on the decks so hard she had all generations from tots to teens to the twilight years out on the dance floor together. 🕺 💃
