♥️LATINAS INFLUENCING FOR GOOD 🫶🏽
In times like these, I wanted to share something that reminds us how important it is, now more than ever to get involved in our communities.

Our presence, care & creativity can create real change. Whether it’s showing up for youth, offering words of encouragement, teaching a new skill, or creating safe spaces - what we do matters.

A few months ago, I partnered with for the second time to lead a mini after-school workshop blending my work as a makeup artist with something even deeper: being a safe space!✨

We talked about confidence — how being seen, heard & supported helps us feel strong from within.

One activity was a simple role-play: the girls sat in my chair & I told them I was feeling a little sad. Then I asked, “What would you say to someone having a hard day?”
Their answers? Full of heart, empathy & care. A reminder that sometimes, the most powerful thing we can offer is simply being there for one another. 💫

We also got creative, the girls designed their own makeup looks & expressed themselves with so much joy & as you can see they are so creative. 🥰

Amiga. I know we’re watching our loved ones, communities go through so much emotionally, physically, mentally. And we try to be there for everyone… but sometimes we forget to be there for ourselves, too. 🙇🏻‍♀️
I know it’s easier said than done…
To rest.
To slow down.
To take care of you when everyone else needs you.

But you deserve that care, too.

Because if we don’t listen to our bodies… eventually, they’ll force us to.

So this is just a reminder • not to be perfect, but to pause.
To breathe.
To soften.

Not just for others… but for you. 💛
