This weekend’s campground: KOA San Diego 🚂🏕️
✔️ Mini train rides around the park
✔️ Giant outdoor jumping pillows (yes, really)
✔️ Air pellet arcade battles (score: kids 1, adults 0)
✔️ Firepit s’mores without any burnt marshmallows… mostly 😅
✔️ Isaw and Bbq

Camping with kids is never quiet — but it’s always worth it.
They played hard, laughed louder, and slept like champs.
KOA turned our weekend into a full-blown family adventure.

We camped steps from the sand at Morro Strand State Beach 🌊
☁️ Got misted in by ocean fog
🛴 Watched cousins race scooters through camp
📚 Counted a visitor center trip as science class (homeschool win!)
🪙 Found sand dollars like buried treasure
💃 Ended the day with a full-blown dance showdown by the fire
Camping with kids isn’t always quiet, but it’s full of these perfect, in-between moments we never want to forget.

They used to shout “nature walk!” like it was a battle cry… and barely make it down the trail without snacks, drama, or someone needing a carry.

Now they’re leading the hike, helping the little ones, and walking with confidence.

They don’t stay little for long, so we’re soaking in these trail days while we can.
Because one day, they’ll hike without us… but today, we get to walk beside them. 💛🥾
