He was an incredible spirit, a consummate historian of Hawaiiana and the Maui Ohana, an amazing talent and musician, a go-to for anything filmed or shot regarding the Islands... and someone I was honored to call a friend and Brudda...

Hard to believe it's been 38 years since I had this NYC mixing adventure !! 😲 Long ago, and far away... a lifetime since I flew from Maui, (living there and doing pre-production on a music CD), to New York, where I spent weeks with Brian De Palma and all those legendary peeps in the NY-end of the film biz, doing "The Untouchables" mix ...back in the days when we used "cue sheets"! 😎 GREAT memories...🤙
