Just saved a new Ripping Silk preset while working on a composition and named it Gentle Tube... in this preset Ripping Silk is being used very very gently to apply an analog texture. This preset demonstrates how a tiny bit of Ripping Silk can really make an individual instrument sparkle.

About this configuration:
Digital Distortion is bypassed by setting both Bit Depth Reduction and Sample Rate Reduction to 1.0 and disabling Anti-Aliasing. The Harmonic Overdrive section has the "Classic Tube" model selected, Overdrive set to 0.02, and just a touch of Tone2 and Tone3 to round out the harmonics.
