That manipulative s***e might be working on Lydia, but not with anyone with a single functioning brain cell (not a dig at Lydia, I understand why she’s falling for it). Literally all he has to do is stop preaching to everyone… all ADULTS… on how they should be living and mind his own business. That is very quite literally all. In other words - just don’t do anything. It takes less effort for him to just shut up and not sat anything unless people ask for his opinion. It’s easier and takes less effort for him to make the family happy with him than it is to upset them.

Sorry not sorry that the-problem-trying-to-play-the-victim s***e does not work with me these days. The family sure isn’t perfect but in this situation damn it they’re right

I do really feel sorry for Lydia because her mother raised her in a certain way, and being the good human. I'm sure she is. She has done everything to live up to that. And then her mother just threw that whole lifestyle away like it was trash.
Lydia is a better person than her mother. She and Zack will figure it out.

This week on Welcome to Plathville: We learn that Zach also has no emotional and situational intelligence. He married into the right family! "Ethan is criticizing me for my behavior, but that's ridiculous because I never went after him for his behavior towards me." Excuse me? So, because Zach chose to "bury the hatchet" (which was actually just the avoidant behavior this family is known for), Ethan needs to do the same? It's pretty hypocritical to sit the family down and say "If you have anything to say, say it to my face." and then go shocked Pikachu when they actually do it.

This is the typical MO of a narcissistic mother. Mine did this. It’s a pattern and hopefully Lydia will recognize it sooner than I did. Every holiday or anniversary/birthday *must* center Kim or Kim will find a way to sabotage it and ruin it. Every single time. My mother did that, and simultaneously convinced me that I was the source of the conflict. It wasn’t until I moved away completely and had holidays without family that I realized that I wasn’t causing drama and my celebrations were actually enjoyable. Then it dawned on me that every confrontation or fight involved my mother. I hope Lydia’s move to Colorado allows her this space to come to this conclusion herself much more quickly than it did me.

I do not understand why Kim said she felt bad that Lydia said the night before her wedding was the worst night of her life, but then threw an anniversary party and gathered everyone to talk about their problems with Zach and Lydia. I did appreciate Moriah now knowing her limits and being “well I’m going to go bake a cake”. Good for her. I think there has been more than the show shows going on with her and I hope this is a sign that she is working on making life better for herself.

This is like Freaky Friday or body snatchers. Lydia and Zach are doing EXACTLY what Barry and Kim did to Olivia and Ethan. Kim(Olivia) wants to be free to explore the world with drinking, living with Ken, etc. Lydia and Zach(Kim 1&2) are pointing out these actions doesn’t align with Plath values. What Lydia doesn’t realize is the entire fabric of who these people is gone. They won’t want to hear their mistakes, just like Olivia. This family has amnesia in the worst possible way!!!

I know in the early stages of the separation / divorce on air in 2022 it wasn't really addressed it was just vague s**t Kim would say like Barry wasn't emotionally available or some really vague lines. I know Kim was saying this while she was telling the girls and packing her s**t. But even 2023 onwards you never really heard much about why they actually did(I'm not talking about the s**t that they posted on the court clerk papers) but the reasons behind it. I know people are going to throw out "Uh..... Kim cheated....." but really? Is there actual evidence she did or didn't.

I know this week's episode Kim bi***ed that Lydia instigated on her podcasts appearances that Kim and Barry divorced due to Josh's death as some factor but Lydia/Zac said it was more of communication issues/problems stemming from Josh's death. It wasn't just Josh's death. Anyone feel like the 1,000 lb elephant in the room that show/TLC is failing to address is THE reason behind the divorce.
