On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we are proud to unveil the first poster of our upcoming gothic horror film, ‘The Undying’, directed by Samman Roy.
Produced by AKStudiosPro, "The Undying" is inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s haunting short story “Jeebito o Mrito (The Living and the Dead)”. While often remembered for its eerie premise, Tagore’s story is ultimately a profound reflection on a woman’s identity, dignity, and the tragic consequences of a society that refuses to acknowledge her existence.
On this International Women’s Day, we dedicate the poster reveal to the countless women whose identities and voices have struggled to be recognised yet continue to endure.
