A new website called Wokeometer is rating video games on a 0–10 “woke” scale, based on things like identity politics, LGBTQ+ themes, DEI representation and how much it believes messaging affects the story.

Some of its current scores are already causing debate. 👀

Sony has revealed new details about God of War: Laufey, including a closer look at Faye’s combat and her new Serpent Bow. She’ll be able to switch between ranged attacks and close-quarters combat, with different arrow types and customizable bow upgrades.

The game takes Faye into the Everywhen, an afterlife where gods from different mythologies fight for power.

A new rumor claims a potential L.A. Noire sequel could be set in San Francisco and revolve around the infamous Zodiac Killer, with a possible release target around 2030.

The same leaker has previously made claims about GTA 6 that later gained attention, but Rockstar has NOT officially confirmed L.A. Noire 2.

🎮 What happens when a digital game you paid for gets shut down?

A Pennsylvania state senator is proposing the Protect Our Games Act, which would require game publishers to give players at least 60 days’ notice before ending access or changing features of a digital game.

The proposal would also require publishers to provide at least one option: offline play, a patch allowing continued online access, or a refund of at least 25% of the original purchase price.

The proposal has not yet been formally introduced as a bill, according to the Pennsylvania Senate memo.

Remedy is developing Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake as one combined title, while Rockstar Games is financing the development and publishing the game. It’s being built with Remedy’s Northlight engine for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and Remedy’s 2026 materials still list the project in full production.

Having Remedy remake the games they originally created, with Rockstar funding the project, feels like exactly the kind of setup Max Payne deserves. 🔥

If they nail the atmosphere, bullet time and storytelling, this could be one of the biggest remakes to watch.

🔥 Destiny 2 is finally opening the vault again.

Bungie says previously vaulted Destiny 2 content is set to return, potentially bringing back locations, activities, missions, and other content that players haven’t been able to access for years.

The Destiny Content Vault has been one of the most controversial parts of the game, so seeing older content become playable again is a big move. I think this is something Bungie should’ve started doing much sooner. 👀
