Easton's mother told him, "Choose any pet you want." Most children would probably have chosen a playful puppy or a cute little kitten.

But Easton had something different in mind. At the shelter, he met Tiny, a calm 10-year-old orange cat who was a little overweight. Time and again, people passed him by without giving him a chance.

Tiny had lost his previous home and was living in foster care with his sister, patiently waiting for someone to look beyond his age and give him a second chance.

The moment Easton saw Tiny's picture, he felt something special. He didn't hesitate or have any doubts—he felt an instant connection.

When they met for the first time, Tiny climbed straight into Easton's arms, as if he already knew he had found where he truly belonged.
