To enter you must submit your logline and application materials by February 15th, 2022 to womenofcolorfilmmakers.org by 11:55 pm PST.Applications - To submit to the WOCF Film Lab you must be a WOCF member and provide the following: 1. A logline for your short film based on the word INFINITE. 2. An essay (no more than 200 words) describing your voice, your journey thus far as a filmmaker and how you hope to grow from this experience .3. A two sentence bio.

The Virtual Indie Directors Workshop is back!!! It is now a part of the WOCF educational program. You do not have to be a WOCF member or female to take this course.

Whether you are shooting your film on your iPhone, DSLR, or an Arri Mini, you need basic skills to ensure you are visually telling an appealing story that will elevate you as a filmmaker. 09/11/21 My stepfather Derwood Wilson passed away due to COVID. It is hard to believe he is gone. It happened so quickly. I thought we would have more time. I remember when I was trying to decide if I should move to Cali to pursue my dream of working in entertainment I was scared. I had a 6-year-old son and I wasn't sure how I would manage without the full support of my family that I had back in Washington. You encouraged me to step out of faith and go. Reminded me family would always be there no matter where I am. I will always be grateful for that conversation. Rest in Heaven Papa and know that you are loved by many. 💜 His service will be held at Altheimer Memorial Church 1121 S Altheimer St. Tacoma, WA on 09/25/21 at 11:00 am PST. COVID protocols will be observed.
