Titans 2023 second-round pick QB Will Levis says he's a "dang good quarterback" and believes that he's deserving of a starting job in the NFL 🤫
"I know I've put the tape out there already that I'm a damn good quarterback in this league, and I'm even better than I ever have been," Levis said today.
When asked if he can still be an NFL starter, Levis said, "100 percent. 100 percent. I know there are not 32 quarterbacks in this league better than me. I know that for sure."
Levis, who missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing surgery on his right throwing shoulder, is now competing with Mitchell Trubisky for the backup QB spot behind Cam Ward.
With Baker Mayfield set to become a free-agent next March, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be a possible suitor for Levis via trade or in 2027 free agency.
Before the 2023 NFL Draft, Levis took an official pre-draft visit with the Buccaneers and GM Jason Licht, so Tampa Bay did have interest in him coming out of college.
Considering Licht's reputation for giving quarterbacks opportunities for redemption, Levis could be his next project if things with Mayfield continue to go south.
Levis, 27, has thrown for 3,899 yards, 21 TDs, and 16 INTs with a 61.0 completion percentage across two seasons and 21 career starts. He's also rushed for 240 yards on 70 carries (3.4 YPC) and 1 TD while fumbling 17 times.
Will Levis get another opportunity to start in the NFL?
