I haven't posted here in some time. That's about to change.
Let's start with thisπ
How do I know God wants me to succeed?
I embrace a few Scriptures as a foundation for my belief.
- Romans 2:11 For there is no partiality with God π I have faith God will do for me what He has done for others.
- Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. π I'm not called to worry about the future. I'm called to seek the life God has for me, His right way of doing life, and then I'll be happy with the results.
π€ But what if I don't experience the desired results on my timetable? π Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. π Faith is a substance, something tangible. Faith isn't "I hope" or "I wish." My faith is evidence of the unseen.
And it's not just me who has embraced faith as how I live. Abraham did too. π Romans 4:20-22 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore βit was accounted to him for righteousness.β π€ Read that middle part again where the verse says "fully convinced."
I'm telling you everything I said to bring us to this statement.
Whatever it is you're believing for, whatever it is you're walking in faith to achieve or experience, whatever that is, get on your knees, ask God for it and what He wants you to do.
Then get up and do it knowing that God will do, and your job is to have that faith, and do what He told you.
Happy Sunday! π
