You don’t have to be the strongest, the most talented, the most experienced, or the most impressive person in the room for God to use you.

Moses had excuses.
David was overlooked.
Esther felt out of place.
Paul had a past.

Yet God still used them.

Your limitations may be real, but they do not disqualify you from being used by God. Sometimes the very thing you think makes you unusable becomes the place where His strength is seen most clearly.

Stop waiting until you feel “good enough.”

Be available. Be faithful. Trust God with the rest.

Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Manna from Heaven that is the one that can sustain you more than just daily physical bread. I encourage you to eat from the Bread of Life daily or you will be spiritually hungry and spiritually drained if you do not!

For years, it would have been easy for me to look at my arms and only see what I couldn’t do.

But God has taught me something completely different.

Sometimes the thing we keep asking God to remove is the very thing He uses to show people what He can do.

My limitations haven’t stopped God from calling me, using me, allowing me to preach His Word, or giving my life purpose.

And yours don’t have to stop Him either.

You don’t need somebody else’s body, ability, personality, story, or circumstances for God to use you.

Give Him what you have.

His strength is still made perfect in weakness.

📖 “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Sometimes we read the Bible looking for God to change our circumstances… when God is using those circumstances to change us.

Don’t rush past what God is trying to teach you in this season. Open His Word. Listen. Trust Him. And remember—what feels like a limitation to you may be the very place God chooses to show His strength.

WHAT BANNER ARE YOU FIGHTING UNDER?

Exodus 17 begins with Israel facing an enemy. Amalek comes to fight, Joshua goes into the valley, and Moses goes to the top of the hill.

The battle is real. The enemy is real. The exhaustion is real.

But after the victory, Moses builds an altar and names it:

“And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:”
— Exodus 17:15 KJV

Jehovah-nissi means, “The LORD is my banner.”

In ancient battle, a banner identified whose army the soldiers belonged to and gave them a place to rally around. After Israel’s victory, Moses did not honor Joshua or himself. He gave the glory to God.

Our victory does not come from us.
Our strength does not come from us.
We belong to the LORD.

That still matters today.

When life becomes a battle, we may be tempted to trust our ability, money, reputation, plans, or strength. But every human banner eventually falls.

God does not.

You may be facing a battle that feels bigger than you. But Exodus 17 reminds us that the battle was never meant to prove how strong Israel was. It was meant to reveal how faithful God is.

You do not have to face tomorrow under the banner of your own strength. Stand beneath the name of the God who has already proven Himself faithful.
