Dance culture is about inclusion. It's about movement. It's about how you make people feel. It's about vibes. It's not about the mediums or equipment used. It's not about the "Sync" button. I've gone from a listener to a pianist, guitarist, vocalist, and percussionist. I've gone from analogue to lossless digital formats. I've gone from vinyl to cassette to CD to MiniDisc to digital players to USB drives. I've gone from recording on TASCAM 4-track tape recorders to Ableton Suite. I've performed with all analogue gear. I've performed with all digital gear. I've performed with live instruments. There is no incorrect way to express yourself, so long as people enjoy it.

I truly feel sorry for the people who worry about the medium and methods people use to express art. You're hung up on vinyl and sync buttons while everyone else is dancing and building community. Wake up. Let go of your gatekeeping. Embrace community and love.
