What do our in-classroom music education programs entail? Here's a peek at one of our programs "When Music and Art Collide!" Music Education Manager Kiana Del guided Auburndale Elementary 4th and 5th graders through music by Sergei Prokofiev and Paquito D'Rivera, discussing how tempo, dynamics, and pitch drive emotion and tell a story. Then, students created their own stories using the music as a guide. Book your in-classroom visit at lpm.org/music-education

Speaking of gift giving, we are forever grateful for the founder of our Instrumental Partners program, Dean Haynes. Not only did he give us the blueprint for supporting young musicians, his estate generously gifted the instruments you see in this photo. We take them to be refurbished with the help of our local repair partners and put them into the hands of a musician or band program in need. This is one of the many things your membership helps us accomplish!
