This Saturday, March 8th they're debuting a film called Show Her The Money that gives honest insights into female entrepreneurship and challenges.

"Show Her The Money" sheds light on the challenges women face in securing venture capital, revealing that women receive less than 2% of VC funding. The film follows four visionary female founders as they navigate the obstacles of building and scaling their businesses with the support of game-changing female investors. Their journeys prove that when women get access to funding, true equality becomes possible.

February has been filled with a lot of love and I've just been a hermit this winter, soaking it in. I'd love to share one of my favorite events in the month of love. ❤️

I volunteered at the Galentine's Day event hosted by 's which featured about 95 women owned businesses!!! 🥰

It was honestly one of the most empowering events I've attended in Louisville with so many incredible women coming together to lift each other and support one another's dreams. 🙏🏽

I got really emotional at one point because to see all these people come together and bring positivity to each other, from seasoned business owners to small business, it was absolutely wonderful. 🥹

I genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses but I absolutely loved seeing women owned businesses coming together in this safe and inclusive space. There was a Harvard article published last year by Priyanka Varma, talking about why investing in women benefits everyone.

The article shared that greater women’s economic participation is important because women typically reinvest up to 90% of their earnings in their families and communities compared to 30%-40% among men. 💪🏽 Meaning putting money in a women's wallet directly impacts the growth of a community. 🤩

My mind was really blown away by this but reflecting back on myself, my mom and all the women I'm acquainted with, everyone participates in lifting their respective communities as much and as often as they can. It's helped me adopt the same practice and give back as often as I can.

Altogether, I am just so grateful I got to experience this beautiful event, celebrating women, creativity and collaboration.
