In celebration of the New Year, SOS of Ohio is hosting a FREE CAT NEUTER clinic this Friday, January 5th! HAPPY NEUTER YEAR 2024!
WHERE: SOS of Ohio Spay and Neuter SOS of Ohio Spay & Neuter Clinic - Shelter Outreach Services located at 3500 East Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43227
WHEN: This Friday, January 5th, 2024. Drop off between 7:30a-8:30a, pick up between 3-5pm.
WHO: OUTDOOR MALE CATS ONLY.
WHAT: We will be providing the neuter surgery, ear tip, and a rabies vaccine, FREE of charge. Other services will NOT be offered on this day.
RULES:
1) This event is for MALE CATS who live outside.
2) All cats will be ear tipped.
3) No appointment is needed- this is a first come, first serve clinic.
4) Expect a wait in the morning, this will be a busy clinic.
5) The neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, and ear tip are the ONLY services being offered on this day
6) Anyone who is feeding an outdoor cat qualifies for this event.
7) Sick or injured cats might be turned away (and can be scheduled at a later date) in an effort to get as many surgeries done as possible.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Please bring one cat per carrier/trap.
2) Please line carriers/traps with p*e pads or newspaper
3) If possible- no food the morning of surgery (If you need food to trap a feral cat, that is OK! We will do these cats later in the day
4) Please have someone available to pick up early in case your cat is one of the first done. Getting cats out quickly will allow us to get more in quickly!
5) If you are trapping a feral cat, make sure you have a climate controlled room to hold them in overnight before releasing in the morning.
