We had an absolute blast at Salls McDonalds Hurstbourne and Citadel Way, washing cars and matching donations for the Ronald McDonald's House. Students from the Burnett Avenue Baptist Church Teen Summit Nettworkers summer program and Director, Joanne Cole toured the WLOU and WLLV studios on Wednesday, June 18th. The group from various schools, Noe Middle School, and Male and Manuel High Schools, met briefly with General Manager Steve Murphy and the sales staff. 104.7 WLOU Jamz Program Director Mark Gunn took the group into both the Production and On-Air Studio and demonstrated how radio is done today by seeing and manipulating sound through the use of computers. Louisville's Gospel Station 101.9 FM WLLV Program Director Brodric Purvis conducted an interview with the teens that will air on his afternoon radio show at a date soon to be announced to the church. You don't want to miss it! The teens each received gift bags each containing a pair of tickets to Kentucky Kingdom. A big thanks to Ms. Joanne Cole and the Burnett Avenue Baptist Church Teen Summit Nettworkers for the wonderful visit. It was a great day!

Congratulations to Tammy Murphy! She came thru and sung the McDonald's song for Mark Gunn, the "Two all beef patties, special sauce" song from back in the day, and won a family 4-pac of passes to Holiday World.
