A new restaurant opened recently in NuLu and it’s perfect for date night or a night out with the girls. 🥰🙌

Well it’s not NEW new, you might know The Exchange NuLu from their New Albany location but we’re so excited to welcome them to this side of the bridge. (I’m also very happy to see something take over that space in Hotel Genevieve talk about a prime location) 🙌

They serve lunch, dinner, and cocktails. On a previous visit I went for lunch and tried the goat cheese fritters, pretzel + b**r cheese, and the salmon bowl and enjoyed all of it.

I went back for dinner with Aaron and we tried the shish*to peppers + burrata, tempura cauliflower, steak frites, and scallop carbonara (added shrimp)
SO GOOD

Excited to try more menu items. I keep hearing good things. 🔥

This popular New York City bakery has just opened a location in Lousville! 🍌🧁

Magnolia Bakery is officially OPEN in NuLu , and yes…the famous nationally-acclaimed banana pudding is here. 👀

If the name sounds familiar, you may know Magnolia Bakery from its pop-culture moment on S*x and the City when Carrie Bradshaw grabbed a pink cupcake while talking about having a crush. (Yes, you can get a “Carrie cupcake” in-store) 🥹💕

Since then, Magnolia has become more known for its world-famous banana pudding, cakes and classic American desserts.

AND Y’ALL I support every award that banana pudding has won. 🍌😮‍💨
I’m a classic banana pudding person, but if you’re feelin wild they have a banana pudding bar where you can customize your pudding with add-ons like cookies and caramel.

Louisville is only the second U.S. franchise location for Magnolia Bakery and is locally owned by Louisville native alex nessenthaler , who brought the NYC favorite back to her hometown. 😊 So now you don’t even have to leave Louisville for a taste of New York! 🎉

A ✨new✨ woman + Latina owned authentic Mexican coffee shop has just opened in Louisville! ☕️😍

Glenda and Meghan started Cafecito Louisville as a mobile coffee shop and have just opened their first brick and mortar location in the heart of Old Louisville. 🎉

Today was their grand opening. ☺️

We both got dulce de leche lattes and WOW they were excellent! Excited to try all the unique flavors. You’ll find lattes like horchata, Mexican mocha, abejita miel, tres leches, fresas con crema, mazapan, and more. Plus, matchas and a selection of other fun drinks and pastries.

Go check em out! ☕️🥰

PLEASE READ: ✈️
I was so excited when the pink boarding pass with cute characters came through and I realized we’d be on this plane BUT,

gotta give you some real talk about this plane though…

The Hello Kitty plane and 6 total planes with Sanrio characters were from a collaboration that Eva Air did with Sanrio beginning in 2005. The specific plane we were on was reallllly old with not a lot of amenities and in general it just felt old and tired. 😅

I had seen some older TikToks of this plane and it showed it being totally decked out in Hello Kitty including the safety video, barf bags, and more. I was bummed to find the Hello Kitty stuff has since been scaled back HOWEVER it was still cute and a fun idea.

The boarding passes, headrests, flight attendant uniforms, snacks, cups, and utensils are still in theme but they have since changed out the safety video and taken away some of the other stuff from when it was originally launched over 20 years ago.

Overall, I was still excited to get to experience it and it was a very fun surprise to see the pink character boarding pass come through ☺️ but I wouldn’t go out of my way to take this plane (no, it doesn’t cost extra to fly on it but I would have been disappointed if I had paid extra for it.)

Went on a little SIDE side quest from my normal Louisville fitness studio series to try out a reformer Pilates class in Bali.

This class was HARD 😂 and it was Aaron’s and my brother’s first reformer Pilates class lol 😅

We tried out Reform+ in Uluwatu and it was awesome. The space was soooo cute AND there was a cafe on the rooftop of it! When you buy a single class it comes with a free matcha 😂 the perfect combo. 🍵

ALSO, I thought it was wild I could use my ClassPass there!!! I didn’t realize it was worldwide and was pumped that it worked there! So cool! 🤯
